a brief biography of hurtmachine damien krystov has been writing electronic music since 1989. he spent 1993-2001 working on an experimental electronic / industrial project called prey to god. in 2001, he decided to drop the name prey to god, stop writing industrial music, and began focusing his creative efforts on experimental electronic / idm / drill n bass / noise, which met with good reviews. all the while he was still writing some industrial tracks which did not fit with his new style of music...so after amassing several of these tracks, he decided to release them to the world under the name hurtmachine in april 2005. aside from his solo projects krystov and hurtmachine, damien krystov works with industrial metal act nightcrawler 1947 writing, producing, and performing live. hurtmachine first appeared on the xorsix records compilation de.monstres in 2005. damien krystov is still fully engaged in writing for the hurtmachine project, and a full-length album is planned for release in late 2005...more on that to be announced.
